Welcome to the home page for the Gilbert County Island Fire District! The District was formed in January 2008 to arrange for fire protection services for the residents of county islands within the Town of Gilbert municipal planning area. Currently, the Town of Gilbert Fire Department is our fire services provider.

New Board Member: Carlos Mejia was chosen to serve out the remainder of Marci Sale's term pursuant to A.R.S. §48-803.B at the May 8 meeting. The seat is up for re-election this November.

2012-13 Budget: The GCIFD adopted a tentative budget at the May meeting. See the budget tab (above) for links to the budget as well as to budgets from previous years for comparison. This budget will be discussed and a final budget will be adopted at the July meeting.
