Welcome to the home page for the Gilbert County Island Fire District! The District was formed in January 2008 to arrange for fire protection services for the residents of county islands within the Town of Gilbert municipal planning area. Currently, the Town of Gilbert Fire Department is our fire services provider.

2011-12 Budget: The GCIFD adopted a final budget at the July meeting.The tax rate for the year will be 1.1066. See the budget tab (above) for links to the budget as well as to budgets from previous years for comparison. There's also a breakdown of the budget so you can see how much your property tax bill will be and how your property tax would be spent.

New Meeting Schedule: The GCIFD will now hold meetings on the second Tuesday of odd-numbered months rather than every month.
